La Bio compote of clementines and chili peppers is produced by the family-run factory “Terre di Zoè“.
The plot of land owned by the family is in the province of Reggio Calabria and has an extent of 20 hectares.
The product doesn’t contain any thickener and is colourant and preservatives free.
The clementines are a hybrid born from the graft of tangerine and bitter orange trees, what came out of the graft is a small fruit, warm orange coloured, without seeds, thin skin and very juicy slices.
Chili peppers are also rich in vitamin C, carotenoids and mineral salts. Chili peppers are also vasodilators and anti-depressant, helps digestion and the production of gastric juices. It also activates the circulatory system.
The compote contains just fruit sugar and is gluten free.
