The **Duale rosso** produced with local grapes that come from hillside vineyards farmed in the Mediterranean area scrupulous farming care and a careful vinification enhance the aromatic notes of the vine.

To produce this wine the winery **Criserà** selected the most ancient vine variety of the region known as **Enotria** which means land of wine, the Nerello Calabrese.

A Calabrian **IGT** bright red coloured with violet reflections, bodied and balanced, sweet and spicy fragrances.

To be served at room temperature.

The Scilla it is one of the most ancient of the region, recalls to the palate with its taste medium, slightly sweet all the charm of a magic place enchanted by the myth of the sirens.

The **Liber Pater** **DOC Cirò,** of the winery **Ippolito** located in Cirò Marina (KR), is named after the Latin god of wine and vine where it took the delicate fragrances that used to inebriate the feasts in his honour.

Produced with local grapes, to the sight is ruby red with violet reflections, the fragrance has complex notes of red fruit, violet and spicy. Well-structured to the taste with remarkable personality.

**Winemaking:** **grapes selection in the vineyard**, long maceration on the pomace and an eight months careful refining in durmast French barriques;

Librandi – Duca Sanfelice Cirò red Classic Superior Reserve D.O.C.

Il Duca Sanfelice, produced by the factory **Librandi** in the town of **Cirò** **(province of Crotone)**, it’s a classic red wine, superior reserve **DOC**. Obtained from grapes harvested from old vine trees cultivated in the vineyard by the same name. It represents the wine of the tradition of Cirò.

The Cirò is the most important wine-producing area of Calabria. It’s a vast area of millenary tradition, where the plains near the sea and the hillside that gradually raise inland are exposed both to the north and to the south. The soil is of different composition and the weather is generally temperate.

The wine is dark ruby red, the fragrance is fruity and spicy; intense and enhanced by liquorice hints that opens to a full tasting, smooth, sustained by a certain freshness and a good acidity. It closes on nice notes of tobacco and cherry.

**Vine variety:** Gaglioppo 100%;

**Winemaking:** in steel thermo conditioned, with 10 days maceration, refining in steel for three years, with a stay in bottle for a few months before selling;

**Terrain:** clayish – calcareous, small tree;

**AbV:** 13,5% Vol.;

**Bottle:** 75 cl;

**Classification:** Controlled Designation of Origin Cirò;

**Best served with:** during the entire meal, it gives its best with red meat roasts, game, wild game, braised meat. Excellent with ripen cheese.

The **Palizzi** is pride of the producers of the area, during the past years they are working to bring back to light ancient vine variety, but the wine produced today is the result of a heritage of traditions left to us by ancient Greeks.

The wines of the winery **MALASPINA** are the product of a loving and careful work, the accurate selection of the grapes, the vinifications studied to enhance the expressiveness of the raw material, and the experimental refining during the years, give to these wines a strong character, fineness and elegance.

An **IGT** wine delicately fruity, well-structured and discretely tannic. Intense ruby coloured, intense fragrance of red fruits with delicate vanilla notes, full palate, structured, warm, with an excellent persistence and a discreet tannic note, spicy.

**Vine variety:** Calabrese black 50%, Nocera 50%;

**Winemaking:** long grapes maceration at controlled temperature, fermentation in steel and six months ripening in barriques;

**Terrain:** cordon spurred;

Terre Grecaniche – Aranghìa Palizzi IGT red

The wine **Aranghìa** is produced by the agricultural cooperative **Terre Grecaniche** on the promontory of **Capo Spartivento,** overlooking the Ionian Sea.

The ancient Greek word ‘aranghìa’ is the name of the fiumara that ends in the Ionian Sea in the direction of the promontory of Capo Spartivento.
This wine breathes the heat of the land and the breeze from the sea of the Aspromonte Grecanico, one of the most suggestive and untouched territories, where the **IGT Palizzi** **is produced**.
The colour is intense. The fragrance is spicy with notes of red fruits, the taste is soft.
