The Bio compote of clementines and bergamot is produced by the family-run factory “Terre di Zoè“.

The plot of land owned by the family is in the province of Reggio Calabria and has an extent of 20 hectares.

The product is colourant and preservatives free. The clementines are rich in C vitamin and orange pigment. The bergamot is a citrus of many natural properties: it is a strong ally against cholesterol and diabetes, helps who suffers from cardiovascular disease, is very rich in vitamin C B1, B2, A and so has an effective reparatory action in osseous diseases.

The clementines are a hybrid born from the graft of tangerine and bitter orange trees, what came out of the graft is a small fruit, warm orange coloured, without seeds, thin skin and very juicy slices.

The compote contains just fruit sugar and is gluten free.

Criserà – Armacia rosso I.G.T. Costa Viola

The Armacia, the wine of the terraced cultivation on the Costa Viola, it is one of the Italian Extreme wines certified by CERVIM. It is ruby coloured with violet reflections, with a strong winey fragrance and notes of minerals from the near sea. The armacia, is the typical dry-stone wall that is used for the terraced cultivation on the Costa Viola, where from centuries it’s been practiced the heroic viticulture, the terraced cultivation lean on slopes and their presence contributes to the safety of the territory.

Malaspina – Palizzi I.G.T. Red

The Palizzi is pride of the producers of the area, during the past years they are working to bring back to light ancient vine variety, but the wine produced today is the result of a heritage of traditions left to us by ancient Greeks.

The wines of the winery MALASPINA are the product of a loving and careful work, the accurate selection of the grapes, the vinifications studied to enhance the expressiveness of the raw material, and the experimental refining during the years, give to these wines a strong character, fineness and elegance.

An IGT wine delicately fruity, well-structured and discretely tannic. Intense ruby coloured, intense fragrance of red fruits with delicate vanilla notes, full palate, structured, warm, with an excellent persistence and a discreet tannic note, spicy.

Winemaking: long grapes maceration at controlled temperature, fermentation in steel and six months ripening in barriques;

Quarto di Luna Scilla I.G.T. red

Quarto di Luna, is an IGT born from the traditional vine variety scillese; it is a simple and fresh wine with a fine personality, sometimes decisive and delicate. Scilla, so picturesque and suggestive, holds in its genes a deep viticulture vocation.

Through the patient and passionate work of the farmers, the terraced cultivations of the different districts made a red wine with delicate shades cerasuolo, simple and of character, nicely fruity with a good sapid note from the near sea.

A ruby coloured wine, floral and fruity fragrance, with cherry notes, raspberry, and rose. Soft and smooth to the taste, well-tempered by the silky tannins. To be served at a temperature of 10-12°.

Vine variety: Calabrese Nero 50%, Gaglioppo 30%, Alicante 20%;

Winemaking: maceration for 10 days, fermentation in steel at controlled temperature and refining in steel surlies, batonnage;

Terrain: medium melt and calcareous, cordon spurred;

Lento – Dragone I.G.T. Calabria red

The wine Dragone is born from the selection of the best grapes produced in a territory unique for its position, history and tradition, where the vineyards overlook two seas that are part of the Mediterranean Sea

Produced by the winery Cantine Lento in the area of Lamezia Terme, it’s an IGT wine born from the union of two vine variety: from the best grapes of Magliocco, one of the most ancient vines of the Mediterranean brought back to light after years of researches; and a vine of international prestige: Merlot.

Intense ruby colour. The fragrance is wide and embracing, rich of red fruits notes with a spicy and long-lasting end; an important structure and balanced tannins that makes it round and smooth, very nice.

Vine variety: Magliocco, Merlot;

Winemaking: the grapes, selected and harvested manually, undergo a procedure called diraspa-pigiatura and subsequent maceration, after the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are completed, it is refined in steel tanks and then for a few months in durmast French barrels;

The Lamezia red is a wine born from a rigorous selection of ancient vines, the properties of the soil, the ideal microclimate assure high quality standard, a strong personality and a strong regional identity.

Produced by the winery Lento near Lamezia Terme, it is a reserve Calabrian DOC wine of great intensity, rich, silky and of long persistence.

At the sight it has an intense ruby colour, embracing fragrance with some spicy notes, soft balanced, with an excellent structure, vanilla, cocoa and roasted coffee notes.

Vine variety: Magliocco, Greco Nero, Nerello;

Winemaking: the grapes undergo a procedure called diraspa-pigiatura and subsequent fermentation for 12 days, the flor wine after aging for 2 years it is refined for 12 months in durmast French barrels, and after that in bottle for at least 6 months;

The Gaglioppo is a red wine of the Calabrian factory Statti, produced in the IGT area of Lamezia Terme; a wine witness of a land modestly hidden in his treasures.

 

The hard work in the vineyard, the care put in the choices to make, are the recipe to get great wines: the respect for the local and original fruit give back a wine of rare elegance and enjoyable.

Lively purple red, clear and transparent. Delicate bouquet with resemblances of red fruits, geranium and aromatic herbs. Dry, sapid, soft and fresh to the taste.

Winemaking: traditional in red at controlled temperature with maceration on skin for 7 days and refining in steel tanks for three months;

Colacino – Sì Savuto D.O.C. red

Sì Savuto is a DOC wine, produced in Marzi, a town in the province of  Cosenza by the winery Colacino;, that is born from a variety of local Calabrian grapes, in terraced vineyards made with dry stone walls in the valley that passes through the river Savuto, in a piece of land of the Sila near the province of Cosenza.

 

The factory is born from the passion of a physician for the land and the territory. The wines are produced with local vine varieties that give them a decisive taste, spicy, that brings back to the memory ancient flavours thanks to the optimal weather conditions of the area, sun exposure, heat and humidity.

The wine is an intense ruby colour, with violet reflection that lean towards the grainy of the aging. Intense fragrance that recalls to underwood fruits, cherry, and spicy. It is concentrated and well balanced with a persistent ending of amarena, cherry and liquorice.

A wine with an intense red colour with evident violet shades, red fruit fragrance and floral notes very persistent. Soft taste with an intense expression of fresh fruit that lasts, giving spicy notes typically Mediterranean.

The factory is born from the passion of a physician for the land and the territory. The wines are produced with local vine varieties that give them a decisive taste, spicy, that brings back to the memory ancient flavours thanks to the optimal weather conditions of the area, sun exposure, heat and humidity.

At sight this wine is very red impenetrable with grainy shades. Ripen fruit fragrance and embracing spices that find their aromatic energy with tobacco and liquorice. Full round taste smooth with captivating density and long aromatic persistence, nice the wood tinge.

Winemaking: manual harvest of the grapes that undergo soft pressing and two weeks fermentation; refining of 6 months in French and American barriques and finally rest in bottle for four months;

Cantine Viola – Rosso Viola I.G.P.

The Rosso Viola is a Calabrian IGP with biological agriculture certification, produced by the winery Cantine Viola in Saracena in the province of Cosenza.

Elegant and sapid wine with a balanced taste, soft structured and captivating.

To be served at a temperature of 16°.

Ruby with clear borders. The bouquet reveals a fragrance range rich and intriguing: spicy notes of nutmeg and cloves and black pepper. Fruity: plum, amarena, and red fruits, slightly tannic with a high acidity that refreshes the palate.

Vine variety: Magliocco dolce 100%;

Winemaking: cold pre-fermentative maceration for three days; fermentation in steel thermo regulate with maceration for at least eight days. Refining in wood for nine months in barriques and in bottle for six months before selling;

Terreno: red clay, cordon spurred;
